Ovens used professionally in the catering or hotel industry have to meet different requirements than those used in private households. While temperature measurement helps the amateur chef to cook food to perfection, the correct execution of the recipe must be ensured in the catering trade. This is the only way to ensure reproducible and consistent food quality and compliance with hygiene regulations. Boiler probes detect flue gas temperature in boilers, which must be set correctly. If the flue gas temperature is too high, the boiler may be over-fired. In addition to energy loss, the boiler can also become sooted and must be cleaned more often. If the boiler temperature is too low, the flue gas will not draw off properly and combustion will be inefficient. Cross-band probes are applied for the surface temperature measurement. The most accurate surface temperature measurements are both physically complex and require a sophisticated and well thought-out sensor head design. Two thin crossed thermobands in the sensor head detect a thermoelectric voltage which quickly and accurately represents the surface temperature. Due to the filigree design of the sensor head, only very slight heat is extracted from the measuring point, so that the measurement error is negligible. The very small thermal mass of the thermal ribbons in the measuring head ensures particularly short response times when measuring the surface temperature.

Our clip sensors are applied for temperature measurements on pipes such as the flow and return of heating systems. Due to their design, they are easy to mount at the measuring point and can be exchanged very fast. You can adapt our clip sensors individually to your measuring task.

For temperature measurements in tanks and pipelines, cable sensors can be thermally coupled to the medium either in direct contact with the medium or thermally via an immersion sleeve.
